Ok, tried it again by extracting a different way, and it worked fine.  Apparently quick extract wasn't properly working...

I want to say, Thanks! I've really been enjoying the mathack, way better then the older one I was using before.

    I have two questions,

    1. I was wondering how I could remove the little squares on the ground, they used to be weeds, or grass clumps? They're all over Flash and some on the top of the hill by the allied first on Avalanche. It's not that big of a deal, but they have blocked my view a few times, and would be nice to change them back. I've tryed making an Individual and removed the ground and nature folders, but they still remain.

    2. I was also wondering if I use $ignorez models, Do I need do use a bypasser?

I really appreciate the great work and any help. Thanks!

    1. Yeah, I've been meaning to fix that. Just haven't gotten around to it.

    2. If you had bothered to read the ALL CAPS text next to every spot in the thread/hack that mentions the $ignorez models, you would know.

For the weird grass problem, if you typed r_drawdetailprops 0 in console the lines on the ground would disappear. You would also get kicked from some servers for not setting it to 2 though, under Environmental error, but it works for most servers.

Most servers don't check for r_drawdetails, some servers that do tend to have sv_pure on anyways so it doesn't really matter. Especially most of the euro servers.

Thanks for that, does it still do the motion blur at some points though? Its a little disorienting.

The blur is not as noticable as before now, thanks for that.

Also, if you ever get purple/black checkerdots, just go in console and type in mat_picmip -2 or mat_picmip 0

Aww, if thats alright with you, I already added like 200 custom textures using your grid. Now donner and a few other maps are completely visible as opposed to some parts still missing.

The editted one.. its using darkgrid and is basically every material that should be on DoDs (even some that aren't at this point), all credit to That Guy for the hack to begin with though.

Some textures are overlapped in some maps, causing the grid method to fail.. looking into how to work around that.

2000 edit: Props and models are using That Guy's, along with the vgui, but the walls and the such uses translucency idea from rahlzel's CS:S mathack.. so its effectively a hybirdized bastard. Its a lot easier on the eyes if you are determined or your computer is determined to have bloom/hd on and there is no motion blur effect to screw with yours eyes. It also prevents the overlap problem.

Added. If it's fine with you, I made a few slight edits to make it consistent with the rest of the hack. Let me know how it works.

Also, if you've downloaded in the last 20 minutes or so, redownload. There was a problem with one of the compilations.

No problem with that, but none of the vmts work due to newline error.

Fuck. In that case, I'll just attach the last version, until I can get a fix. No point in bloating the file size.

The 130kb one you just uploaded has the same issue with the grid files.

Using all of those vmts actually let me see even in all the random custom maps.
