Mathacks are undetectable. You only need the bypass if you're going to use the $ignorez models.

Update to orange box engine has modified a lot of files.

Reinstall is recommended. Reinstall the mathack I mean, not the game...

Thank you very much but I seem to be getting the dreaded pink and black checkerboard for models.

Does the server have sv_pure enabled? Are you getting any errors in the console?

A bit late but do you mind posting a screenshot of what you said?

For the most part, I think if you just typed mat_picmip -2 or 2, it will clear up.

The blur is not as noticable as before now, thanks for that.

Also, if you ever get purple/black checkerdots, just go in console and type in mat_picmip -2 or mat_picmip 0

After adding the hack and all.. i kept seeing this purple and black checkered background whenever i play the games.. I tried the mat_ thing but it would go black for a second and not fix during the game.. Am i doing something wrong Crystal? Thanks if you can help!

I wonder how is that possible.....

Well, technically speaking it's not, it is possible to tell when someone is using a mathack if you want to scour the servers console log (it would say something like "username" loaded material "materialname"), or just first person spectate and look for suspicious behavior (pre-firing/aiming). But valve specifically said they will never hand out a vac ban just for using altered material files on their games (as most of the material mods out there are actually legitimate and don't give the user any discernible advantage over the other players).

That index.php problem is actually somehow fixed for me but when I use this all I see for the white walls is a black screen with white dots and player models. It looks nothing like in the pictures and almost impossible to navigate through, can someone help :-\

Fixed all props by changing $alphatest to $translucent and removing all $alpha 1's
Changed all props vgui/grid to vgui/propsblack in all compilations, except the original textures
Added props into the individual folder, 2 to choose from grid and black translucent
Fixed barbed wire, wood being white due to no $basetexture in the .vmt
All fixes by neutral.

Still doesnt seem like the walls were fixed though. Still appears as completely black walls with white dots for the white grid compilation.

I also noticed that the files dont seem like they were modified at all since neutral wasnt credited for the "fixes" in the "Credits & Features" text document.

The txt file hasn't been changed in a while. I always forget to update it and don't remember until after the archive has been uploaded.

You'll have to talk to neutral about the walls. I uninstalled the game a long time ago, so I wasn't able to test the fixes.

Read the post above, i fixed props.

i only tested the black grid and it looked fine so i didn't change any of the walls

1. 7-zip is the shit.
2. 7-zip can be run through wine just as well as steam.
3. There are multiple ports of 7-zip designed to run natively on Linux/Unix.
4. Grammar is the best, use as much as you can.
